Hollywood Theatre
INVESTIGATION REPORT:
This investigation started with an email from a team in Tyler, Texas named Tyler RIP. We
were told there was a theatre with claims of apparitions and doors moving on their own. We
also talked about an idea of giving a presentation to a local paranormal meetup group. I
thought it would be a great idea to take a road trip and make some new friends.
We left Austin early from work and hit the road. We are all good friends so it was nothing
but laughs and jokes on the way up. When we got in town we make a quick pit stop at radio
shack, a paranormal investigators savior, and got to business. We arrived at a local eatery
to give the presentation to about 15 to 20 people and everything we off without a hitch, I
was very pleased with the evening.

After the presentation concluded we visited a local park which had previously been a Civil
War battle field. We did some walking around with our voice recorders and worked with the
Thermal Camera a bit and once it was late enough we left for the theatre. We arrived on
location and to my surprise it was a rather new theatre. I had the idea in my head that it
was going to be a classic older theatre. Never the less I was still excited, It was a change to
help prove that hauntings don't always have to be in older buildings. We setup on the
second floor with all of the projection equipment, which was very cool to look at in itself. We
used all of our cable along with our reserve supply to cover as much as area as we could.
We setup cameras in the hallways where shadow people had been reported, as well as
facing a heavy door which had a story of its own. During a previous investigation held by
Tyler RIP they caught this door moving on its own. It was about 1AM when we got the
investigation underway. Due to the time and the distance we weren't able to investigate as
long as we wanted. We broke down early in the AM and decided to start the 4 hour drive
home. About 2 hours in the drive we couldn't make it any further. We stopped at the first
place we saw, which was a big mistake. The motel looked pretty good from the road but
once we got into the room we learned It wasn't the highest quality establishment. We
thought about leaving but we were delirious from being tired and decided to stay. We saw
the bathroom and skipped the showers and we slept with our clothes on. We had no choice
but to laugh at the situation and got into bed where Clint our lead investigator was met by
some choice hairs that he would rather not see, oh what a great morning!! ;)
We reviewed all the video audio and thermal with no luck. We wished we could have
backed up the claims of the client as well as Tyler RIP but we found no evidence of the
paranormal. We do however have a personal experience. Two investigators were in one of
the theatres with the thermal imaging camera when they both spotted the same shadow
person cross their path. The light in the theatres were left of so it was easy to see,
unfortunately they didn't catch the phenomena on the thermal, just another story for the
